Training for consultants on MFI Business Planning and Financial & Social Projections with Microvision

Microvision is Microfact's new tool, which will allow MFIs to turn their business plan and social and financial objectives into five-year financial projections. The tool provides a general framework for strategic and operational planning, but it also models the impact of different parameters on the MFI's overall activity. Therefore, it should help MFIs make informed decisions in order to achieve and balance their social and financial goals (DIM 6 of the USSPM -

The training will be provided in English by Chuck Waterfield, and is dedicated to consultants or experts in microfinance who plan to provide technical assistance to MFIs on these topics.

Microfact is a joint initiative of ADA and BRS to strengthen the financial and social performance of microfinance and micro-insurance institutions.

The IFC and the SPTF Social Investor Working Group are pleased to invite you to a two-day, invitation-only, Investor Forum on April 3-4, 2019 at IFC’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Participants will have an opportunity to share investment lessons in social performance and impact management, discuss recent strategies for digital transformation, and share the latest developments in impact investing tools for financial inclusion and the larger impact space, which are critical to achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  The meeting will also include deep-dive sessions about how investors in financial inclusion and digital financial services (DFS) can assess and manage risks in the rapidly evolving digital finance landscape. Discussions will include the latest initiatives among co-founding and new signatories of the Guidelines for Investing in Responsible Digital Financial Services, and their importance toward investing for impact.
