Social Performance Funding for FSPs

The Microfinance Centre invites financial service providers (FSPs) to apply directly to the SP Fund to receive co-financing for an SPI4 Social Audit Plus. The fund will co-finance an SPI4 audit, which allows an FSP to assess its alignment with the Universal Standards for SPM, as well as time for an auditor to help the provider create an action plan for improvements. FSPs from Europe, Asia, Latin America and the MENA region are eligible to apply to the fund, which is supported by the Ford Foundation. Interested FSPs can apply any time until the funds are finished, up to July 2017.

The Impact Management Project

The Impact Management Project aims to bring people together from different disciplines to agree on impact expectations and the norms for attempting to meet those expectations. There's widespread agreement that SPTF investor members' experience and expertise must shape a shared convention. Bridges Impact+ is facilitating the project, which is a multi-funder and multi-stakeholder initiative. You are invited to participate in the ongoing Convention Development Sessions during March and May, 2017. Please contact for more information.

Africa Board Fellowship program

The Africa Board Fellowship (ABF) program is dedicated to connecting board members and CEOs through peer learning and exchange to strengthen the governance of financial institutions serving low-income clients in sub-Saharan Africa. Apply now to join the 5th cohort of fellows and become a more effective financial inclusion leader. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis.
