1. Read the Principles for Investors in Inclusive Finance (the PIIF), which provide a framework for responsible investment in inclusive finance. Then become a signatory to show your organization's commitment to responsible inclusive finance.

2. Read an overview or the full set of the Universal Standards for SPM, which is a manual of best SPM practices for financial service providers (FSPs). You can use the Universal Standards to understand all aspects of SPM, including how you can evaluate and support your investees’ SPM practices. Investment in FSPs with strong SPM practices is your best bet for achieving social return on investment.
